New Plymouth 22 year old Michael Torckler has won the Wellington Cycle Classic today after weather caused the cancellation of the final stage.


Australian Chief Commisier Russel Miller decided the wet Wellington conditions were unsafe fro racing. Miller's decision means the current standings become the final placings.


This means Torckler keeps his yellow jersey and wins the tour by 5 seconds over Australian Lachlan Norris while South African Jay Thompson finsihes third.
